About the Job
As a sponsor of Mass Save, Eversource administers over $200 million dollars of incentive payments per year to customers for implementing energy efficiency, demand, and electrification projects that would not be executed without this financial support. This role audits buildings to find energy efficiency opportunities as well as providing site inspections reports to the Eversource Project Engineer for their use in vetting the energy calculations they are reviewing as part of the process. The Project Engineers are responsible for providing commercial and industrial customers with accurate, third-party verified energy analysis that is used as the basis for their incentive offer and financial analysis. The Auditor assists the project engineer by providing them with accurate field inspection reports. RATES OF PAY: Step 1 (6 months) $44.67
Step 2 ( 6 months) $47.92

SCHEDULE: M-F, 7:30AM – 4PM
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:
1. Manages and monitors contractor delivery of conservation program audits and services through quality assurance measurement and proper training of contractors.
2. Develops standards and benchmarks for judging the success of contractor performance.
3. Inspects work and records of energy audit contractors to check the quality of work and adequacy of record keeping and financial system.
4. Designs procedures to ensure proper resolution of customer complaints and Inquiries. Conducts necessary Investigations and recommends corrective action.
5. Participates in program planning and preparation of program documents (i.e., Utility Implementation Plan, Budget, Annual Report). Audit buildings to find energy efficiency opportunities
6. Gives Presentations to customers and civic groups to explain Energy Efficiency programs and energy audits.
7. Assists Energy Efficiency Project Engineers conduct their reviews and works under their supervision to provide accurate inspection information.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge:
• Basic knowledge in the areas of lighting, HVAC & fluid handling, refrigeration, compressed air systems, as well as a background with control methodologies and systems, familiarity with engineering economic analyses and manufacturing and industrial processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer in relation to energy efficiency in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Familiarity with accepted energy engineering and HVAC industry standards, including applicable energy relevant building codes.
• Proficiency with various computer software applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, relational databases, AutoCAD and various energy stimulation tools such as eQuest, AirMaster and MotorMaster.
• Ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, project personnel and all levels of management.to develop program-wide policies and procedures, demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for results.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Energy, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or CEA/CEM certification.
Experience: Zero - Three years of relevant experience
