Expected salary range:
- Mid-Level - $88,000 - $108,000
- Sr Level - $115,000- $141,000
- Sr Staff - $138,000 - 154,000
Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
As the engineering subject matter expert, this position will provide senior engineer level expertise in the area of Cyber Security. This position performs advanced engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations and is responsible for technical decisions associated with Cyber Security. Supports fleet initiatives and plant design modifications, testing and problem solving. Assure all engineering products prepared or overseen are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements. Leads sub-project teams. Coordinates project accountabilities and planning goals with respect to engineering personnel.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Serves as a sub-team leader for fleet cyber security initiatives
- Coordinate IT and site teams to implement and administer the NRC mandated cyber security program.
- Serve as primary contact IT and site teams to implement and administer the FERC/NERC mandated cyber security program.
- Perform Cyber assessments as required by the NRC/FERC/NERC cyber security programs.
- Support the sites in testing and issue resolution associated with the cyber security programs.
- Maintain awareness of trends and issues in area of technical expertise evaluate new technologies or technology opportunities and provide analysis of their potential impact to the business.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level E02 Engineer
- B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years Nuclear or related engineering experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03 Engineer
- B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5+ years engineering experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior Staff E04 Engineer
- B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 10+ years engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering related discipline and 10 or more years experience in IT or engineering with at least 3 years in cyber security activities.
- Advanced technical skills in engineering, IT and cyber security.
- Previous project leadership experience
- Nuclear related experience
- Comprehensive understanding of change management techniques associated with new technology implementation.
- Demonstrate leadership ability.
- Strong judgment, excellent analytical ability and consulting skills.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of IT and engineering.
