Come join our team as an Engineering Associate II! You will serve a primary role in developing conceptual designs and project scopes to improve the LCRA Transmission Services Corporation’s transmission system, as well as supporting the interconnection of a dynamic and growing mix of resources on the ERCOT grid. Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in electrical substation and control design, will strive for excellence in all areas of their work, and exemplify LCRA’s values of focusing on service, taking initiative, showing respect, operating with integrity, and focusing on safety. You will be trusted to: - Develop conceptual design and scoping documents for projects to improve the existing electric grid and/or facilitate the interconnection of new load and generation facilities. |
You qualify with: - Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, biosystems engineering, mathematical science, physical science or related science plus one or more years of post-Bachelors engineering experience relating to the area of engineering specialization required to perform the job.
