Daikin Applied is now hiring for an Engineering Co-op in Atlanta, GA!

Location: Marietta, GA in office 5 days per week
Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for Spring 2025, Fall 2025, and the following Spring 2026

What you will do:
* Responsible for overall customer satisfaction by ensuring what was sold is communicated and fulfilled
* Serves as the liaison between the customer, sales team, and Daikin factories
* Visit job sites with Field Sales Engineers and Daikin Technicians to inspect Daikin HVAC equipment
* Assist Field Sales Engineers with HVAC equipment selection that will be used in the design process
* Determine project timelines, ship dates, and project costs
* Troubleshoot customer requests and changes to the initial project scope of work
* Assist the sales team with technical expertise in the selection/application of standard or modified products
* Create professional sales proposals and submittals from RFP/RFI from clients for Daikin Applied
* Provide prompt, accurate responses to sales inquiries regarding special applications, systems, or pricing (Daikin Tools Quotations)
Minimum Qualifications:
* Undergraduate (sophomore or junior) currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related
* Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
* Ability to complete three full-time semester rotations in Atlanta, Georgia
* Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior Engineering internship experience
* Experience with Solidworks or related CAD software
* Successfully completed Thermo-dynamics I, and Fluid Mechanics for Mechanical Engineering majors or similar coursework for Electrical or Aerospace Engineering majors
