Primary Purpose:
The Engineering Coordinator provides broad engineering and administrative support for Project, Quality, Process Engineers, Technicians and manufacturing departments in process or product documentation. Skillfully organize, manage time and responsibilities to meet the daily requirements of the job.

Duties and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS -
- Regular and reliable attenendance and punctuality.
- Revise and improve Process control procedures to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Audit process for improvement and monitor follow up and implementation.
- Provide ERP Project administration via Project Tasks, resources, and requisitions to maintain part project budgets.
- Provide ERP router and bill of material support.
- Support in material release.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Be accountable for working safely by following all safety rules and safe work practices.
- Participate in and lead safety improvement activities.
- Responsible to adhere to all site safety policies and procedures.
- Be accountable for working safely by following all safety rules and safe work practices.
- Responsible to ensure standardized work is in place for all processes and adherence to quality process.
- Responsible for building and improving processes that make a quality product.
- Lead, support, and plan improvement using lean principles.
- Establish the standard condition and ensure quality throughput through respective area.
- Ensure problems are correctly identified and cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Initiate improvements to save material, labor, and energy costs.
- Ensure compliance with HR Policies and practices.
- Representative of the company in on-site Project/Technical meetings.
- Participates in audits as necessary.
- Supports Process Control audits and procedure maintenance.
- Tech card and router maintenance.
- Supports Process Control material release.
Key Relationships & Leadership:
- Operations Management - Transparency in supporting the needs of operations.
- Quality - Problem solving, process development.
- Customers - Audit participation, issuance of certifications.
- Suppliers - Ability to verbally communicated effectively.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: 2 year degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years technical experience in Investment Casting desired.
- Certifications/Licenses: Certified or has the credentials to be a certified auditor per the quality manual desired.
- Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, Windows, PowerPoint, and experience in ERP systems, Syteline desirable.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
- Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and for-cause drug screening.
Working Conditions:
- Working Environment: Office Environment and engagement with operations on shop floor.
- Physical Demands: Sitting/Standing for extended periods of time, able to lift to 20lbs, extended periods of time using a computer screen.
- Travel Requirements: None Required.
- Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in.
- Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant.
- Steel toe shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant.
