Job Description
The industry leader for quality control and process optimization equipment utilized in the Power and Automation Industry is seeking experienced Electronic Technician for their Westerville, Ohio repair center. The successful candidate must possess solid electronic troubleshooting abilities as well as demonstrated excellence in communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair capabilities with an eye for technical accuracy and thoroughness. Service and repair activities must be performed within established ISO certified policies and procedures and documented accordingly.
A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent work / military experience is required along with a minimum of 5 years related field service support. Network support, Computer repair and OS restoration as well as software configuration is preferred. Experience using calibration and electronic test equipment is required. General software knowledge is a must (Windows 10, MS Word, MS Excel). The candidate will require the skills to troubleshoot various electronic boards to component level and replace components, including through-hole and surface mount to IPC-A-610 standards. Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Voltmeters and Oscilloscopes is required. In addition to electronic skills, good mechanical skills are preferred. Experience with LabView programming and / or use of LabView programs is a plus.
Additional requirements include the ability to work overtime as necessary to meet customer’s needs and a desire to participate in continuing education as necessary to meet customer’s and company needs.
Travel is not typically required for this role.

• Through-hole and surface mount solder (IPC610 or J-STD is a Plus)
• Troubleshooting using a Multimeter
• Troubleshooting using an Oscilloscope
• Understand complex drawings and schematics

• Power supplies
• Microprocessors
• Analog in/out
• Digital in/out
• Networking
Electro-Mechanical skillset:
• Pneumatics
• Stepper Motors
• Actuators
Software:
• MS Word / MS Excel
• Basic programming knowledge
o Not Required but a plus LabView C / C++ Understanding of Firmware
