Job Overview
As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technical professionals in managing the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes. Youll play a critical role in continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the facility operates at peak efficiency. Your ability to manage cross-functional teams, solve complex technical problems, and collaborate with other departments will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee process improvements and implement best practices to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure all engineering solutions align with overall operational goals.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational effectiveness.
• Manage the implementation of new technologies and ensure seamless integration into existing systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Handle resource allocation, budget management, and timeline adherence for engineering projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex production and equipment issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related fields).
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering role within a heavy industry manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot quickly when faced with challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Engineering or Business Administration (MBA).
• Familiarity with automation technologies and Industry 4.0 practices.
• Experience in capital project management and process automation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
