Engineering Project Manager
Our client is seeking a skilled Engineering Project Manager to oversee the development of custom build solutions from concept to completion. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies in hydraulics, electronics, and pneumatics to create innovative solutions for the automation industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of engineering principles, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet our client's specifications.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee engineering projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and product quality.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, and pneumatics.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferences
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience in the automation industry.
- Advanced degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience working with global teams and suppliers.
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
