Engineering Staff Maintenance Technician PM schedule - Daily Management Inc

Palm Beach Shores Resort is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech. This is a fast paced, full time position requiring the skills of a team oriented, enthusiastic and highly dependable associate. Applicant must be familiar with all aspects of maintenance including but not limited to, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, light painting, carpentry, irrigation, etc. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years previous experience in a related field. Attention to detail and our Guests are #1 priority. Flexible schedule, Days, nights and weekends. Skills test and drug screening conducted.

SUMMARY: Performs various maintenance duties including but not limited to: light painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and irrigation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to communicate with guests & co-workers in a polite professional manner. Ability to deal with guest inquiries and requests. Ability to complete assigned task in a timely manner. Able to lift up to 100lbs and climb a 40 ft ladder

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates degree

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Ability to use internet software

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to use various hand tools, pressure washer, saws, drills, etc. Ability to represent the company in a professional manner and communicate good customer service skills.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Must like to deal with the public

Must be customer service oriented
