Technical Professionals Group (TPG) is searching for an Engineering Supervisor who will be responsible for installing and testing driver assist systems to support development teams. The position will also be responsible for analyzing results, processing contract driver feedback, developing process improvements, and making recommendations.

Essential Functions:
- This position will be assigned to DAS scrum teams to support work in the garage, vehicle, and lab, for driver assistance system vehicle installation and testing
- Become an expert on ADAS features to understand system capabilities, identify nuances, and provide useful feedback to development teams
- Coordinate vehicles and contract drivers
- Install and verify operation of driver assistance systems on test and customer trucks
- Build vehicle and bench electrical harnesses
- Manage, track, and document hardware updates for customer prototype orders
- Perform vehicle instrumentations and electronic systems retrofits onto test and customer vehicles in a Vehicle Lab/Garage environment
- Be an expert user of data acquisition and diagnostic tools
- Run automated reports on data collected from mileage accumulation driving, review results and present findings to functional teams
- Write technical reports to document test results and conclusions
- Maintain and develop work instructions and test procedures
- Pursue process improvements, methods and equipment for cost, quality, and delivery
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a team environment
- Must be able to draw and communicate conclusions based on test results
Experience:
- Experience with performing basic electronic systems troubleshooting
- Experience with most tasks performed in the vehicle lab environment requiring only objective based guidance from engineering resources
- Experience working with vehicle systems, preferably commercial
- Experience with vehicle test instrumentation and data acquisition systems
- Experience with wide variety of diagnostic software and automotive diagnostic interfaces is a plus
- Experience with CAN networks and using Vector tools is a plus
- Experience with test management systems a plus
- Experience with coordinating vehicles and drivers to meet scheduled mileage milestones
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of driver assistance functions at a vehicle level is a plus
- Demonstrates mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Knowledge of Brake components and systems knowledge is a plus
Skills:
- Ideal candidate has a bias towards action and a positive/proactive work ethic
- Familiar in the use of data acquisition systems and the ability to assimilate data quickly
- Desire to learn new tools and develop a cross-functional skill set
- Strong technical aptitude; comfortable and skilled at working in automotive/truck service environment
- Excellent organization skills with a capability to prioritize time and resources to achieve the completion of tasks / goals
- Must possess a strong set of interpersonal skills to ensure success in a cross-functional, team environment developing solutions through collaboration
- Capable of performing in a highly stressful environment

- Manages self and others with a sense of urgency
- Detail oriented, thorough, and observant record keeper
- Experience in the trucking industry a plus
- Create clear and concise engineering procedures and reports if Test Engineer
- Must have good Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills if Test Engineer
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Systems Engineering preferred, or an Engineering Degree in a related discipline is required
Travel:
- Expected travel up to 10% to customer or other internal sites
