Construction Materials Technician

Tech USA is currently seeking a Construction Materials Technician for a full time position to be a part of a dynamic and diverse team, with an international engineering technology enterprise. Responsibilities:
- Perform testing services on soils and concrete in the field, at the construction site
- Review and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Communicate with contractors, engineers and project managers
- Create daily test reports containing data gathered from tests and observations

- 1+ year construction experience with soils, concrete and other materials
- ACI Certification - Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1
- CAPA (Colorado Asphalt and Paving Association) Certificate
- Prefer WAQTC (Colorado) certification, but not required if able to train and pass the WAQTC (Colorado) certification exam within 6 months of hire.
- Experience on CDOT projects
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, productive environment with growth potential
- Ability to work hours in excess of 40 per week and weekends as needed.
- Lifting and carrying 75+ pounds
