About the Job
Major/Essential Functions
- Responsible for the timely completion of complex government and commercial payer enrollment applications.
- Maintain records of all provider enrollment activities including all applications, application status and provider participation effective dates.
- Maintains copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required Enrollment documents for all providers.
- Contact payers to follow-up on status of applications and coordinate effective dates with providers/staff.
- Communicate provider enrollment status to physicians and staff.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff, and contacts outside the organization.
- Proficient in conveying ideas effectively, both written and verbally.
- Skilled at identifying and addressing issues and using critical thinking to find innovative solutions.
- Provides support to Enrollment Manager.
- Capable of prioritizing work flow and able to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to multi task and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Requires persistence, demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are required.
- Completes provider enrollment applications; monitors applications and follows-up as needed.
