Responsibilities:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to contribute to the delivery of strategic and moderately complex projects as a member of our IT department. In this role, you will bring your project management knowledge and expertise, and strong leadership skills to drive the successful execution of projects within our company. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from straightforward to challenging, to work with cross-functional teams across our organization, and make a significant impact on our business. Your primary focus will be to ensure the successful delivery of your assigned projects on time and within budget, adhering to our defined project processes and industry best practices, while strengthening PMO function within the organization.
Essential Job Functions:
- Effectively direct, manage and control multiple technology projects to ensure successful project completion on time and within budget constraints.
- Establish, facilitate and manage the following governance processes: Workplan and Schedule Management, Scope Management, Financial & Performance Management, Issue Management, Risk Management, Status Monitoring and Reporting, Resource Management, Document / Deliverables Management, Quality Management, Contract Management, etc.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate project progress, risks, and resource requirements; adjusting and mitigating issues as needed to ensure successful project outcomes. Escalate risks and issues as necessary and in a timely manner.
- Manage project budgets and financials, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and resource allocation, while closely monitoring key financial performance indicators to make informed decisions and achieve project success.
- Execute projects within a hybrid environment that utilizes both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, ensuring streamlined and efficient workflows.
- Learn and utilize project management tools and processes. Become an advocate for adherence to the tools and processes.
- Provide consistent, accurate and comprehensive project updates in a compelling manner. Develop and maintain productive working relationships across the organization.
- Demonstrate creativity and innovation by offering original ideas, considering alternatives and approaches, and driving continuous process improvement within the PMO practice.
- Effective in fostering working relationships across the businesses and become their trusted advisor with first point of escalation for any solution issues.
- Ability to deliver strategic presentations to audiences of all sizes and possess excellent communication skills.
- Comply with and contribute to the continuous improvement of company policies, processes and procedures.
- Contributes to a collaborative, team-oriented workplace, which may include other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage project resources and project analyst, as needed.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 5+ years in managing large scale enterprise-wide implementations with project management responsibilities.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in technical project management in a PMO environment
- Effective leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in the project manager role and managing simultaneous projects of medium to large size and complexity.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and influence others.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Strong financial analysis skills to interpret and communicate project calculations like Total Cost of Ownership, Estimate to Complete, Estimate at Complete, Burn Rate, etc.
- Experience in discrete manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Intellectual curiosity, especially around emerging enterprise technologies
- Experience in working with third-party service providers.
- Willingness to support the project above and beyond the assigned activities, with responsibility and accountability, to drive results and expected outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Computer Science or a related discipline
- PMP or equivalent certifications
- Experience / certifications with MS Office applications, Azure DevOps, MS Projects preferred
- A satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the work may be considered
- Must be flexible to travel including planned colocation with the project team near business locations for up to 50% of the time every month during project implementation.
