The Enterprise Service and Systems Director is a key leader in the planning, development, and management of our organization’s enterprise services and IT systems. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring our technology infrastructure not only supports but also drives our goals, enhances operational efficiency, and fosters a secure, reliable environment for everyone involved.
Job Description
As the leader of this team, you’ll be at the helm of our enterprise services portfolio, managing essential services such as file storage, video conferencing, business productivity and AI tools, password management, and more. You’ll also support both our on-premise and cloud infrastructure, ensuring everything aligns with the school’s overarching mission and strategic vision.

Duties:
+ Lead and develop the vision for enterprise services portfolio and IT systems to align with the school’s mission and long-term goals.
+ Manage and mentor a highly technical team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
+ Ensure the schools’ technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and optimized to support organizational operations and initiatives
+ Drive automation efforts to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce security risks across the organization.
+ Work closely with leadership, faculty, staff, and external partners to ensure both on-premise and cloud-based technology solutions meet the needs of all stakeholders while advancing the institution’s strategic objectives.
+ Help to manage the organization’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and optimized to support the school’s operations and initiatives
Qualifications:
+ Bachelors Degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field of study
+ 3-5 years of experience in managing an enterprise technical team
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
+ Deep knowledge of Enterprise or IT Service Management concepts
+ Strategy setting and process management for medium to large service portfolio (Zoom, Dropbox, Google Workspace, Networking, On-call rotation, Office365, etc.)
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
+ Ability to lead projects and translate complex domain-specific concepts into knowledge that can be understood and consumed across domains
+ Advantageous to have hands-on experience of AWS cloud services
+ Beneficial to know Infrastructure As Code (preferably Terraform)
+ Beneficial to have experience with endpoint management (BigFix/JAMF)
+ Facilitate and be part of team on-call rotation
