Entry Level Mechanic - Paragon Staffing, LLC

Responsibilities

• Supports maintenance department in all areas as needed with a focus on preventative maintenance duties on the production floor
• Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all maintenance work in the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards
• Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and complete documentation correctly.
• Assists PM Lead in preventative maintenance of assigned functions.
• Has the primary responsibility of the PMs on the entire fleet of Injection Molding Machines and Molding Support according to the schedule.
• Responsible for record keeping of all PMs performed on a daily basis.
• Provide general support to the Maintenance Department
• Handles general repairs, mechanical, basic electrical, minor plumbing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required skills

• 2 years experience electrical/mechanical background
• 2 years in manufacturing environment
• 2 years working experience in facilities manufacturing environment.
• Welding is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Must be able to work flexible hours, work overtime as needed, and share responsibilities with On-Call System.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion or frequently.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
• Must have knowledge of FDA regulations.
