Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Wonder Meats Plant (20 Broad Street, Carlstadt, NJ 07072)
Hours: 4:00AM - 1:00PM EST

The role requires you to be responsible for conducting frequent line checks and ensure quality products are being produced, while in a refrigerated environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Walks production floor to ensure GMP’s are being followed (will be on production floor most of the day).
- Assist with implementation, verification, and validation of SQF program.
- Oversees line checks and conduct line checks (including USDA Room) as needed.
- Performs direct observation for USDA products, including sanitizer strength logs are being kept current.
- Ensures proper records are maintained verifying allergen clean-ups have taken place.
- Ensures all finished product specifications are current alongside QA Manager; timely communication to team.
- Assists with finished product and raw material traceability/troubleshooting in response to customer complaints or in-house product issues.
- Assists QA Manager with plant-wide training in the areas of HACCP, Sanitation, Allergen Control, Facility Security, Food Safety, and GMP’s.
- Ensures calibration of all QA related equipment is maintained as per procedure.
- Performs other duties as assigned that improve the efficiency of the above processes and procedures.
- Bi-lingual English & Spanish highly preferred.
- Food & Beverage manufacturing experience, highly preferred
- Experience with RTE products preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information.
- Solid understanding of general work processes.
- Strong working knowledge of enforcing & following Standard Operating Procedures.
- High School or Equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred.
