Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Leader - Koch Fertilizer

Koch Fertilizer, LLC is looking for an EH&S Leader to drive environmental, health, and safety initiatives at our Wever, Iowa facility. In this role, you will champion safety performance, environmental stewardship, and team development, aligned with Koch's Principle-Based Management philosophy and stewardship framework.

What You Will Do

• EH&S Leadership : Guide the facility's safety and environmental strategies, ensuring strong performance in line with Koch's PBM culture and stewardship values.
• Process Safety & Risk Management : Lead efforts in process safety management, reduce incidents, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Environmental Stewardship : Promote continuous improvement in sustainability and resource management, ensuring the facility meets high environmental standards.
• Culture & Team Development : Build a culture of personal responsibility, continuous learning, and proactive risk management, fostering employee growth and development.
• Leadership Influence : Embed Koch's PBM principles by driving a culture of safety, responsibility, and environmental excellence across operations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience leading and developing high-performance teams in a production environment.
• Experience supporting EH&S compliance in the chemical industry or other industrial manufacturing.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with environmental permitting, for air, waste, and water.
• Experience in applying knowledge and skills related to OSHA Process Safety Management.
• Familiarity with nitrogen fertilizer production processes.
