About the Job
We are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager. Responsible for driving day-to-day EHS performance. Work with all Team Leaders and Engineers to ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, EHS policies and manage site environmental permits. Audit and review any processes related to the overall safety and wellbeing of all our employees and any activities to ensure EHS requirements are complaint and addressed in a timely and through manner if they are not. Investigate incidents and drive closure of corrective action plans. Develop, review and update site safety policies and provide training and guidance to manufacturing operations regarding health and safety concerns

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide full-time environmental, health, and safety direction and leadership to support the overall operations.
- Audit all written safety and health programs and policies and make any changes to our policies to assure all regulatory statues federal, state, and local are being meet.
- Responsible for monitoring and evaluating daily operations and to mitigate risks and improve safety and to identify potential risks and take measures to prevent accidents.
- Inspect the entire building premises on a continual basis, to ensure that the company is compliance with all federal, state and local law safety protocols.
- Mange and document all risk assessments to gather information on safety issues on a quarterly basis.
- Review existing presentation materials, make any changes to the materials to meet all regulatory statues, and conduct annual training classes to all existing Team Members including training of all new hires and on a regular basis and reporting on the Team Members progress.
- Responsible for ensuring all required lead and hearing testing is conducted as required for Team Membered exposed to these environments.
- Manage all health and safety data and utilize this information to continually improve our work environment.
- Maintain documentation of company’s safety procedures, accidents, and related events. Investigate and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Act as a liaison between the company and a variety of external entities including EHS local, state, and federal, state, and local agencies, customers, suppliers, industry groups and government agencies
- Chair with the company safety committee.
- Manage site Hazardous Waste for compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
- BS in Science, Engineering, or EHS and 3 years of experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to organize and motivate teams, drive change, and interact cross-functionally.

- Coordinate and ensure required reporting is done, review reports prior to submittal.
- Understanding of OSHA requirements and other state and local safety regulations.
- Attention to detail.
- Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to teach others the established safety standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and application of safety, regulations and procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships.
- Regular on-site attendance is a necessary function of this position.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear; use hands and fingers to handle and touch objects, tools, or controls to work in a production environment. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus to work.
