How you will make an impact: 

Working as an Environmental Services Aide-Team Lead at The Lutheran Home, you will have a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of residents and the overall atmosphere of the community. By maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and a hygienic environment, you will contribute to the comfort and safety of residents, fostering a sense of peace and well-being. Through friendly interactions and a caring attitude, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, enhancing the overall quality of life in the skilled nursing community. You will ensure daily sanitation and cleanliness standards are met by all EVS staff and complete daily follow-up. You will also ensure EVS staff have all necessary supplies and equipment, and assist with inventory control for the EVS department. Additionally, you will perform Environmental Services Aide or Laundry Textile Worker responsibilities as needed, cover shift responsibilities in lieu of a supervisor, and maintain a safe environment by adhering to all safety rules and regulations.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, 3pm-11pm with a weekend rotation

What you will need: 

• Knowledge of Housekeeping and equipment use required
• Knowledge and experience with carpet cleaning
