Sodexo is #NowHiring our Environmental Services Custodial Manager for the Atlanta Braves Training Camp in Venice, FL. Our successful candidate will work days typically, with the ability to manage the evening shifts and weekends especially during Spring Training. Our Leader will assure all evening events proceed perfectly, with a cohesive team. Experience with ordering supplies, managing equipment are critical to success in the role. Bilingual English-Spanish Preferred
Our successful candidate:
- Interacts professionally with Major League Baseball Players, management and staff
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations
- Oversees the general appearance of assigned buildings through weekly inspections
- Schedules, supervises, and evaluates projects; monitors special event preparations
- Has excellent customer service, written and verbal communication and software skills
- Reviews position cards to ensure they are correct and efficient working with supervisors
- Hires team members, documenting timely interviews following Sodexo timeline and policy
- Responsible for maintaining Sodexo custodial SMS program as well as CMMS work control program
- Reviews maintenance requirements and project proposals, monitors results of projects and programs
- Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees
- Monitors and reviews policies and procedures and productivity standards for staff, takes action to amend, correct or improve performance, develops job specifications and training manuals and trains our team
- Meets with supervisors to review schedules, concerns, issues, and review issues and concerns and maintain consistency with procedures, cleaning practices, training, counseling, and reviews
- Performs quality control inspections and follow-up, meets established timelines, oversees contractors performance and monitors work scheduled to ensure timely completion
- Manages the budget by controlling costs for labor, inventory, equipment and materials, complying with budget requirements and making adjustments when needed
- Possess technical proficiency in custodial services to including Housekeeping techniques, knowledge of all cleaning product chemicals equipment and their hazards
- Is responsible for maintaining and implementing the use of Sodexo custodial SMS program as well as the use of the CMMS work control program
- Manages by providing positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate them
- Coordinates with the purchasing department to procure materials and services; monitors purchases within budgetary constraints
- Establishes a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training and equipment inventory and maintenance
- Is responsible for planning, assigning and directing work, appraising employee performance rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems with support and guidance from our HR manager
