Position Overview
We are seeking a Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a laboratory focused on cell assays and molecular biology.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Control Oversight: Oversee the daily functions of the laboratory, including managing staff and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and quality control.
• Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve any quality control issues or OOS or deviations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Training and Development: Train and mentor laboratory personnel, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform and supervise data analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results. Familiarity with LIMS for data tracking and management. Knowledge of electronic Quality Management Systems.
• Equipment Management: Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and operation of analytical instruments and equipment.
• Documentation: Author Procedures, Protocols and Reports, maintain accurate and detailed records of all QC activities, including test results and equipment logs.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
• Experience: 3-7 years of experience in a quality control laboratory, with 1-2 years of leadership role and a strong background in cell assays and molecular techniques.
• Skills: Proficient in molecular biology and cell assay techniques such as PCR, sequencing, and cell culture. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize laboratory protocols and procedures.
