Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and wealth preservation strategies.
2. Develop and implement estate plans, including drafting and executing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
3. Collaborate with financial advisors and accountants to create integrated wealth management and tax planning strategies.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis of complex estate planning issues.
5. Represent clients in probate court proceedings.
6. Keep abreast of changes in tax and estate planning laws and regulations.
7. Develop strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
8. Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive client matters.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Advanced degree in Tax Law (LLM in Tax) is highly desirable.
3. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
4. Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, trusts, wills, probate, and asset protection.
5. Proven track record of working with high-net-worth individuals and families.
6. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
7. Exceptional legal drafting skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
9. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice.
11. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
