We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimator to join our finance team. As a Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our organization's financial planning and decision-making processes. Your primary role will be to analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support. You will report directly to the Finance Director and work closely with other finance team members. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on strategic financial initiatives and contribute to our company's financial growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
2. Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
3. Identify potential financial risks and create strategic plans to mitigate them.
4. Negotiate contracts and manage the contract process to ensure the best possible terms.
5. Read and interpret financial blueprints, plans, and projections.
6. Conduct comparative analysis of past, present, and future financial data.
7. Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for financial challenges.
8. Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
9. Present financial reports to team members, stakeholders, and senior executives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analysis or estimator role.
3. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
4. Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
5. Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
6. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
7. Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
8. Excellent understanding of negotiation techniques and contract management.
9. Proven experience in blueprint reading and strategic planning.
10. Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
12. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
