Estimator - Mason Road Sheet Metal

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Our Estimator usually works Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Some overtime and Saturdays may be needed. Some flexibility for remote work by approval.

In this dynamic estimating position, you're responsible for creating accurate cost estimates and collaborating with stakeholders to help us complete our projects on time and within budget. You attentively review project plans and documents, determine the scope of work and necessary materials, and develop comprehensive bids to cover all aspects of the project. As you create quotes, you work with vendors and subcontractors to strengthen relationships and obtain competitive pricing.

Once the project is underway, you seek cost-saving measures while proactively identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks or issues. You work closely with clients, engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure our work meets the client's expectations and our high-quality standards. Diligently, you maintain accurate project documentation and research the latest industry trends and practices to help keep us at the top of our game!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of field experience as an HVAC installer
• Proven estimator experience in construction or a similar industry
• Strong proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail with an ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong math skills, analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and excellent time management skills
• Team spirit with great communication and interpersonal skills

While not required, these preferred qualifications would give you a leg up:

• Experience with QuoteSoft or Fabrication ESTmep software
• Knowledge of HVAC installation & fabrication
