Job Summary
Our client, Glass Academy, is seeking a dynamic and resilient individual to join their team as a Sales Associate for their Events. This role is a new position to the organization and will lead the sales of event booking from start to finish. In addition to the booking of an event, this role is responsible for the upselling of the package and other features, facilitating the event, and ensuring a successful event. This person must possess customer focus, goal-orientation, problem solving, negotiation, and the drive to sell.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Grow and sell our new event space to our customers.
- Give tours to current clients/students with the intention of upselling and designing event packages.
- Manage the booking of events, upselling the package, and closing the sale.
- Work the event, facilitation, and catering to the client needs.
- Conduct informative tours, showcasing our products and studio with enthusiasm.
- Leads the outreach of sales via cold calling, emailing, and networking.
- Implement and engage customers in new promotions and programs.
- Maintain accurate records of the sales activities, client interactions, and deals closed.
- Ensure client satisfaction after the sale, handling any queries or questions that arise.
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitors and industry developments.
- Proven experience in event sales and upselling.
- Business to Business and Business to Consumer sales experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in sales and upselling.
- Hours at the gallery/shop in-person are required on Thursday and Friday 2pm – 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am – 5pm.
- The ability to work within summer heat, winter coolness and the ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours.
- Dedication to customer service excellence and satisfaction.
- Proficiency with computers, mac preferred and the Google suite
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Honest and transparent communication style, with a commitment to learning and growth.
