The Event Services Specialist provides front-line customer service and planning assistance to the University community through event management and logistical coordination of spaces and resources.

The Event Services Specialist provides front-line customer service and planning assistance to the University community through event management and logistical coordination of spaces and resources.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate centralized campus space scheduling utilizing EMS software
- Serve as the primary on-campus contact for event set-ups (i.e. conferences, proms)
- Provide event hosts and event participants in the University Center with basic A/V and teleconference troubleshooting
- Update and maintain information on all campus facilities and resources to be able to assist program planners to best utilize space and services
- Utilize exemplary customer service skills in working with a variety of user groups (student, faculty, staff, and community)
- Collaborate with offices and departments across campus to ensure appropriate resources are assigned to programs and events (i.e., Facilities Management, ABM)
- Assist program planners with network and equipment needs and serve as a liaison to other departments (i.e., Information Technology, Facility Management)
- Process accounts receivables, payables, purchase requisitions, expense reports, contracts and stipends
