A Sneak Peek of Your Role
As the Events Marketer you’ll own the planning and execution of major veterinary conferences and strategic hosted events, ensuring high engagement and a positive ROI on events that we participate in. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll work cross functionally to integrate lead generation strategies into event planning that meets or exceeds objectives. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating impactful, lasting impressions of the Instinct brand.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning and execution of major veterinary conferences and strategic hosted events, ensuring high engagement.
- Deliver flawless logistics, from booth setup to post-event follow-up, resulting in increased brand visibility and lead generation.
- Create and execute localized campaigns and field marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and lead generation in key regions.
- Form partnerships with veterinary associations and utilize customer testimonials to build credibility in the market.
- Consistently manage the events and field marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective approaches while maximizing ROI.
- Present regular reports on event performance, tracking metrics like lead generation, customer engagement, and budget use.
- Implement a data-driven approach to continuously improve event strategies.
- Adjust tactics based on attendee feedback, lead conversion data, and performance analysis to ensure that all events meet or exceed objectives.
- Successfully organize the annual all-hands retreat, ensuring a well-coordinated, thoughtful event that fosters a strong company culture.
Who You Are
- Must Haves:
- Proven experience managing events from start to finish (conferences, strategic events) including ownership of all logistics, booth setup, sponsorships, and post-event follow-up.
- Experience in delivering events that generate leads and increase brand visibility.
- Strong financial management skills to oversee event and field marketing budgets.
- Ability to maximize ROI through cost-effective event planning.
- Experience in providing detailed reports on budget use, event performance, and lead generation outcomes
- Strong ability to work with sales, customer success, and product teams to align event strategies with business goals.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating efforts across teams for smooth event execution.
- Analytical skills to monitor and report on key metrics such as lead generation, event attendance, and customer engagement.
- Ability to use feedback and data to continuously improve event strategies and outcomes.
- Experience developing and executing field marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and lead conversion.
- Familiarity with localized campaigns and partnerships with industry associations.
- Strong communication abilities for internal collaboration and external relationship building.
- Proven negotiation skills, especially in managing vendor contracts and securing sponsorships.
- Ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure flawless event execution.
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Veterinary or healthcare Industry experience.
- Demonstrated creativity in designing unique event experiences that captivate attendees and align with brand messaging.
- Familiarity with advanced tools for event metrics tracking, CRM platforms, or marketing automation systems.
- Experience managing events in multiple regions or on an international scale.
- Content creation for events (e.g. speaking engagements, presentations, or marketing materials).

Base Compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000
