Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Everett, MA. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The role involves working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs and help them achieve their academic and social goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student's specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations to support student success.
- Provide training and support to teachers and staff on speech and language strategies that can be used in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Stay informed about best practices, research, and legal requirements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license and ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
