Client Overview:
In business for over 30 years, our client, an innovative Marketing firm, is looking for their next Executive Assistant to support the CEO of the company. They provide a full range of marketing strategies from advanced public relations campaigns, research, creative development, witty social media campaigns, marketing planning, and more. This full-service Marketing firm understands the importance of content strategy with an extremely impressive roster of C-Level executives and employees.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$85k – $95k
Position Overview:
This Marketing firm is looking for an Executive Assistant to coordinate this executive’s schedule, and travel accommodations, and essentially be an extension of himself. A day in the life of the CEO is extremely busy. The CEO needs an organized and proactive Executive Assistant to manage their business calendar. This Executive Assistant will provide support in business presentations and email correspondences as well as answer all incoming phone calls, take meeting minutes, coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, and much more.
Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- The Executive Assistant will serve as a true right hand and business partner to the CEO, assisting with whatever is needed in an administrative capacity.
- Book domestic and international travel arrangements including airline, hotel, and transportation reservations.
- Answer all incoming phone calls, sort mail, clerical duties.
- Coordinate high-level meetings and plan for events.
- The Executive Assistant will utilize excellent writing skills to correspond with external clients and board members on behalf of the CEO.
- Prioritize and coordinate high-volume schedules and manage email correspondence.
Qualifications for the Executive Assistant:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a senior executive or relevant Executives.
- The ideal Executive Assistant will have experience working in an internet, technology, software, or marketing company.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Proficiency using Google applications in addition to PowerPoint, as there will be special projects and presentations the Executive Assistant will add a creative spin to.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
