We had the dream of bringing restaurant-quality food to onsite dining – at a time when uninspiring sandwiches and soggy salads were typically on offer. We're passionate about delectable, fresh food. The Good Eating Company is seeking a creative open-minded Executive Chef 4 for our business dining client in Durham NC. The Executive Chef 4 will oversee the culinary direction of the business.  We are hiring for an Executive Chef 4 that can provide an exceptional experience and lead our team with kindness and culinary drive. Our Executive Chef 4 must be outgoing, not afraid to interact with clients and guest and share thier passion for food. 

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for a Chef who:

• Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served
• Are strong hands on with all-round culinary ability and strong craft skills in all areas of professional cookery, including main courses, salads, and sauce work
• Have a strong knowledge of food and able to cook using multiple styles of cuisine
• Recognizing and reacting to contemporary trends
• Use of correct food terminology and cooking methods
• Constantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a whole
• Play a key role and enthusiastically mentor’s culinary personnel

What We Offer

Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
