Job Summary



As the Executive Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for staff while adhering to corporate guidelines. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for a motivated culinary professional with an entrepreneurial spirit.





Responsibilities:






+ Plan and execute regular and modified menus following established guidelines.


+ Ensure quality by tasting dishes and adhering to standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.


+ Train staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment use, and sanitation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.


+ Manage and maintain schedules for equipment maintenance, cleaning, and work areas.


+ Oversee inventory to meet operational needs without exceeding budget constraints.


+ Make decisions on the utilization of leftover food products, staying within company policies.


+ Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and safety initiatives.






Preferred Qualifications:






+ Associate degree or equivalent culinary experience.


+ 5+ years of culinary/kitchen management experience.


+ Extensive catering and high-volume foodservice operations experience preferred.


+ Proficiency in batch cooking and a hands-on cooking approach.


+ Strong knowledge of current food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation.


+ Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet usage.


+ ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
