About Us:
Nirvana Healthcare is dedicated to disrupting healthcare disparities and improving access to comprehensive care for underserved populations. As part of this mission, we are establishing a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on delivering both physical and mental healthcare services. This new initiative will also address social determinants of health and work in partnership with other organizations to provide wellness services, including retreats for veterans and support for autistic adults and individuals with mental challenges.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Executive Director with a passion for healthcare equity and experience in non-profit leadership. This individual will lead our non-profit division, focusing on building and expanding innovative healthcare services for underserved communities. The Executive Director will drive the organization's strategy, ensuring the delivery of both physical and mental health services, as well as collaborating with external partners to address social determinants of health. Additionally, the Executive Director will oversee wellness programs such as retreats for veterans and support for individuals with autism or mental challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in the development of healthcare services (physical and mental) for underserved populations.
- Address social determinants of health by forming partnerships and creating holistic wellness programs.
- Build and manage a sustainable 501(c)(3) structure, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and external stakeholders to deliver comprehensive care and wellness services.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor relations, and strategic partnerships with foundations.
- Oversee operational management, budgeting, and financial planning to ensure the long-term sustainability of programs.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes and impact.
- Serve as the primary representative of the organization, advocating for healthcare equity and expanding community engagement.
- Ensure that the organization's services align with Nirvana Healthcare's mission of addressing healthcare disparities and improving access to care.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in non-profit leadership, ideally within healthcare or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing healthcare programs for underserved or vulnerable populations.
- Strong experience addressing social determinants of health through community partnerships and programmatic interventions.
- Expertise in operational management, including budgeting, compliance, and fundraising efforts.
- Ability to cultivate and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, community organizations, and donors.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
