Overview
The Executive Education Lead (Education Specialist Lead) will report to the Executive Director of the Shingo Institute. This position has responsibility for the delivery of executive education within the Shingo Institute. The Lead will work directly with affiliates and facilitators to continuously improve the quality of delivery. The Lead will be responsible for facilitator recruitment, onboarding, and training. This position will also ensure that workshops are designed to best fit the delivery medium, either face-to-face or virtual. The Executive Education Lead will collaborate with the Shingo Institute staff to develop strategies for growing the executive education product lines within the Institute.
This position is telework eligible within the state of Utah. Telework outside of the state of Utah is subject to review and approval by the University prior to a job offer being extended.
Responsibilities
* Delivery of the executive educational programs offered by the Shingo Institute
* Training and certification of all facilitators
* Recruitment and onboarding of qualified facilitators
* Continuous improvement of workshop delivery methods
* Assist in the development of curriculum for Shingo workshops
* Help to incorporate technological advances and new learnings/research results into the Shingo workshops
* Work to improve/create standard work in all areas of responsibility
* Evaluation of facilitators
* Coaching for improvement of under-performing facilitators
* Develop best practices for facilitators
* Integration of cutting-edge learning methods for adult learners.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Masters degree in Education or Business.
* Understanding of adult teaching methodologies for both face-to-face and online executive education.
* Five years experience in teaching both face-to-face and online.
* Experience developing online courses from existing curriculum.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience teaching executives.
* Experience in helping companies with a Lean transformation.
* Knowledge of the Shingo Model with preference to Shingo Alumni
