Work Schedule: 4 Days On-Site, 1 Day Remote
Compensation: $285,000 - $330,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus and equity opportunities

Position Overview
Our client, a growing PE-backed retail company based in the NYC Metro Area, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through its next phase of growth. The CEO will be responsible for setting and executing the company’s strategic vision, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring that the company achieves its growth, operational, and profitability targets. The successful candidate will collaborate with the board of directors and private equity stakeholders to drive performance, while fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence. This role requires a commitment to being on-site 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s strategic planning and execution to achieve growth and profitability in the retail sector.
- Oversee all operational aspects of the business, ensuring alignment with the company’s short-term and long-term objectives.
- Develop and execute growth strategies, including market expansion, client acquisition, and product delivery optimization.
- Collaborate with private equity stakeholders, the board of directors, and the executive team to ensure financial goals and strategic objectives are met.
- Drive the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management to ensure profitability.
- Foster a high-performance culture, providing leadership and development to the senior management team to drive operational success.
- Identify and lead M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, or joint ventures to expand market presence and service offerings.
- Ensure the company complies with regulatory standards and industry best practices, maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and sustainability.
- Oversee project or product management and execution, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery of retail projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CEO or senior executive in the retail industry, preferably within a PE-backed company.
- Strong track record of leading growth initiatives, managing large-scale operations, and ensuring operational efficiency.
- In-depth experience with strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership.
- Familiarity with retail project management, supply chain optimization, and industry regulations.
- Experience in leading M&A or strategic partnership initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field; MBA preferred.

- Base salary ranging from $285,000 to $330,000 per year, depending on experience.
