Minimum Education:
- High school graduate preferred.
Work Experience:
- No minimum years of experience required.
Job Duties:
- Answering phones
- Greeting patients
- Registering (signing in) patients
- Verifying information/demographic information
- Making appointments
- Making appointment reminder calls
- Filing, copying, scanning documents
- Ordering supplies
- Auditing charts for documentation completion/compliance
- Working within MHARS (electronic medical record)
- Other duties as requested/required.
Preferred Skills:
- Typing proficiency
- Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software (e.g., Word and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient and visitor interaction
Misc. Information:
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM -4:30 PM.
- Free parking is available at the worksite location.
- Close proximity to Centro Bus lines for public transportation.
- Interviews will be conducted using structured and consistent questions by OMH staff.
- Training will be provided.
- No deposit is required for keys, ID, or parking pass, but there is a fine if lost or stolen.
- The dress code policy is business casual.
