Responsibilities
The Cardiology Lab Exercise Physiologist acts as the administrative and technical support for all procedures provided by the cardiology lab. These procedures include EKGs, holter monitoring, event monitoring, stress treadmill testing, nuclear stress testing, trans telephonic pacemaker checks, tilt table testing, stress echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms, transthoracic echocardiograms, satellite test transmissions and result coordination.

Salary Range: $ 49,730 - $61,442 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or related
Field.
Preferred: Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or related field preferred.
Experience
Required: 6 months experience in an exercise testing laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation facility or corporate
health setting. May consider new graduate if hiring department can provide direct supervision for 6 months.
Testing equipment familiarity: Marquette EKG machines, treadmill control systems, and Holter monitor
systems or similar.
Preferred: MUSE experience, Pace Art experience, Cardiopulmonary stress testing.
License(s)
Required: BLS, ALS certification through American Heart Association
Preferred: ACSM certification
Special Skills
Required: Basic computer, CRT, and typing experience
Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish
Other
Required: May be required to work extended shifts in situations deemed necessary by the Cardiology Lab
Supervisor.
