Job Description:

As an HVAC Technician at Sparkling Craft Inc., you will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems. Your role is vital in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, thereby enhancing the comfort and satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Repair:

   • Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
   • Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment malfunctions, such as mechanical failures, electrical issues, and refrigerant leaks, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
   • Replace or upgrade components of existing HVAC systems to improve efficiency and performance.

2. Maintenance:

   • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting HVAC components to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
   • Conduct system inspections to identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures or repairs.
   • Test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with performance standards.

3. Troubleshooting:

   • Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot complex HVAC problems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
   • Provide technical guidance to clients on HVAC system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency best practices.
   • Document service activities, including repairs, maintenance tasks, and recommendations for accurate record-keeping.

4. Compliance and Safety:

   • Ensure all HVAC work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
   • Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to HVAC systems.
   • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.

5. Cost Estimates and Records:

   • Prepare cost estimates for HVAC services.
   • Create and maintain accurate records of materials used and services performed.

6. Client Satisfaction:

   • Ensure client satisfaction through timely and effective issue resolution.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, with expertise in the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating and cooling systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC equipment, components, and controls, including refrigeration principles and electrical systems.
• Must have your own tools and transportation with a valid driver's license.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to efficiently resolve complex HVAC issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
