Job Description:
We are on the hunt for a Principal Services Consultant to join our Central Centre of Excellence! This group is collectively responsible for delivery of Sage X3 services and best practices to support complex sales and implementations. In this role you will supervise the work of other Consultants and collaborate closely with Project Managers, IT specialists, Product Managers and Developers, Sales Engineers, as well as customer project teams to provide the best solutions, within a defined scope and budget. This is an opportunity to have a global footprint, acting at the solution architect level to define solutions and ensure all regional teams apply the best design and quality standards on implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
• The Principal Consultant will have global responsibilities, contributing to the successful delivery of projects within budget and profitability.
• Drive the design, setup, configuration, customization, testing, delivery, documentation and transition to support of the solution, either directly or through delegation to other Consultants or Business Partners, and through technical and functional reviews.
• Lead and participate in design sessions and workshops, in all relevant project meetings and in any knowledge transfer with various other project stakeholders, internal and external.
• Mentors other Consultants.
• Contributes to internal, partner and customer training.
• Enable services sales to produce feasibility assessments and estimates to meet customer requirements; proactively position value add services with the customers
Qualifications:
• Minimum 8-10 years total experience with progressive responsibilities
• Global experience in Sage X3 implementations
• Prior finance background with deep understanding of manufacturing, distribution, etc.
• Costing experience- inventory, WIP, etc.
• Expert level of knowledge in X3 Finance and US legislation for configuration, implementation and problem solving.
• Ability to host and deliver structured expert level training courses
• Strong presentation skills delivering to internal and external audiences including conferences
