FACETS UAT Tester - REMOTE - Sierra Solutions Group

Job Summary
Our client, a leading healthcare solutions provider dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative technology and services, is seeking a skilled Facets QA Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of their Facets-based applications.  
 
Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Facets applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on Facets modules.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other quality assurance activities.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide detailed reports on testing outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ability to understand business requirements/acceptance criteria and translate that information into a test case strategy and plan.

 
Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of Facets application and table structure.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester with the Claims Test Pro application within Facets.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
• Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
