Summary You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the SEA10F, Facilities Department of NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will formulate and put into effect sustainable operations and maintenance plans, to include plan of actions and milestones, analyses and recommendations on impacts to workspace operations and employee seating arrangements. You will serve as the Liaison between NAVFAC and NAVSEA. You will provide updates to NAVSEA 10F on all issues and work efforts being accomplished for the NAVSEA occupied facilities. You will assist with prioritization of fiscal year requirements for NAVSEA funded projects within the PWDs workload capacity. You will induct all NAVSEA requirements through the NAVFAC Work Induction Board (WIB). You will attend periodic NAVSEA/NAVFAC meetings to assist in solving any facility related problems/concerns. You will provide updated Property Record Cards for all NAVSEA occupied facilities. You will review and ensure that all asset information in MAXIMO is correct for all NAVSEA occupied facilities. You will provides periodic reports from COGNOS, MAXIMO and other NAVFAC E-Systems. You will assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of cost estimates and long-range budget projections for scheduled (preventative) and unscheduled facility maintenance, repair, alterations and construction projects. You will support organizational-wide guidance and assist in developing and implementing facility infrastructure, planning and operations management. You will for plan, coordinate and manage all maintenance, repair, alterations, and construction projects. You will oversee building access and facility ticket submission, ticket management, CSR submissions, zone inspection, coordination and execution with base/NAVFAC personnel, coordination and execution of FSC work within facilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying analytical techniques to develop strategies for planning facility maintenance and utilization in order to resolve space management issues, ensure optimal use of resources, and meet evolving services and equipment needs for facility projects. Education Additional Information This position is part of the DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). The NH-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS 12-13 grade levels. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
