Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC), is seeking a Faculty physician specializing in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry for our new Psychiatry Residency program.

About the Position:
- Combination of precepting, admin time and patient care (carry your own panel of patients) with shared/dedicated inpatient time.
- Full-time, hospital employed.
- Ideal start date, summer to late 2023.
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in child and adolescent psychiatry is preferred; however new grads are eligible to apply.
- Residency program leadership or faculty experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be American Board Certified or board eligible.
About Our Psychiatry Residency Program
- New psychiatry residency for an established Graduate Medical Education program (est. 2013).
- Initial 4 residents to start the program July 1, 2024.
- Will add 8 residents over 2 years.
About Graduate Medical Education & YRMC
- YRMC’s Family Medicine Residency program established on July 1, 2013. That young program of 4 initial residents has grown rapidly, to achieve 24 residents in 2022 and with plans to expand to 36 family medicine residents.
- In 2019, YRMC embarked on a Sports Medicine Fellowship program and we recently graduated our second fellow in June 2022.
- The addition of the Psychiatry Residency will continue to develop and expand the graduate medical education presence at our hospital and in the community and surrounding area.

Compensation:
- Strong salaried financial package (commensurate with experience).
