FPGA/ASIC Design Engineer - Aloden LLC

Location: Camden, NJ (Onsite)

Clearance Required: Active Security Clearance

Industry Background: Defense/Aerospace

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience implementing complex algorithms on ASICs/FPGAs.
• Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (preferred)
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in VHDL.
  • Expertise in FPGA design and debugging, specifically with Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado tools.
  • Excellent analytical and debugging capabilities.
• Communication: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement complex algorithms on FPGAs and ASICs for defense and aerospace applications.
• Utilize VHDL for hardware description and implementation.
• Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and reliability of designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA/ASIC designs into larger systems.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in FPGA/ASIC technologies and methodologies.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to communicate design concepts and progress.
