Premier Placements is currently interviewing for a FSQS Superintendent opportunity with a well-established food manufacturing company located in the Ponca City, OK area.The Food Safety and Quality Systems Superintendent will be responsible for leading the daily activities on the production floor of the department. The primary focus of this position is to coordinate the responsibilities of the department with the Operations, Sanitation, and Engineering department to ensure 100% customer satisfaction in all areas of assured supply, product specifications, quality, and food safety.Relocation Assistance provided!!

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with occasional evenings or weekend call in if needed.
Base Salary: $75,000-$85,000 / year + Yearly up to 14% yearly bonus eligibility!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of process data input.
- Focus on adherence to product specifications, sensory attributes, PQI / food claims, animal welfare and related industry information.
- Perform daily travel paths with the FSQS Supervisor to identify and address opportunities impacting product quality, food safety, and workplace safety.
- Ensure implementation of all facility environmental microbiology monitoring programs, including new equipment management and construction events in RTE environments.
- Responsible for ensuring audit preparedness at all times.
- Participates in all facility third party and regulatory audits and able to conduct said audits independently, if needed.
- Verifies implementation of the facility Food Safety Systems.
- Oversees around 45 employees including 4 QA Supervisors, and a HACCP Coordinator.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent (required). Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Food Safety or related field.
- HACCP Certification preferred
- Must enjoy working hands-on and have the ability to coach, train, and develop current and new employees.
- People Oriented Leadership ability to motivate and help all teams achieve their goals.
- A working knowledge of the food/meat industry including product formulating, processing and packaging, food safety and regulatory compliance is expected.
- Strong and well-developed leadership, analytical, communication, and presentation skills are required.
