**Job Summary:**
As a Full-Time Groomer at The Dog Stop®, you will be responsible for grooming a variety of dog breeds to meet the grooming needs of our clients. You will work closely with pet owners to understand their preferences and ensure the safety and comfort of the animals in your care. Our ideal candidate has a passion for animals, strong grooming skills, and excellent customer service abilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform grooming services, including bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression for dogs.
- Assess each pet’s grooming needs, providing recommendations and offering services accordingly.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Build a rapport with pets and their owners to create a positive grooming experience.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming options, aftercare, and any health concerns observed during grooming.
- Stay current with grooming trends, techniques, and products to enhance personal skills and client satisfaction.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain grooming records for clients and their pets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the grooming salon.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a groomer or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of a variety of dog breeds and their specific grooming needs.
- Certification from an accredited grooming school is a REQUIREMENT.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to handle pets calmly and safely, especially in stressful situations.
- Physical stamina to perform grooming tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting pets as needed.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing excellent care.
