Fabrication Engineer (or Manufacturing Engineer with fabrication experience)
(Location: Canterbury, Connecticut 06331 area)
Job Summary:
· Work closely with manufacturing team to implement design, related to semiconductor fabrication processes and techniques.
· Help create and manage device processing steps.
· Design and develop semiconductor systems, software and modules.
· Review and provide specification documentation.
· Design, prototype and assist in production of custom communications electronics.
· Work with new RF electrical hardware.
· Investigate and experiment with new technologies.
· Create technical specifications and test plans.
· Write operational documentation with technical authors.
· Problem-solve at the individual and team levels, including effective issue identification and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
· BS/MS in Material Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
· Candidate should have knowledge of, and experience with, semiconductor fabrication processes.
· Knowledge of circuit boards, semiconductors and measurement equipment.
· Knowledge of semiconductor testing process and device theory.
· Software development skills.
· Ability to create technical design documentation.
· Ability to communicate effectively, relay tasks and set agendas.
· Possess and exhibit a keen attention to detail for all facets of work.
· Possess and exhibit excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with a strong desire to learn and develop new skills.
· "Plus skill" - Experience with 3rd through 5th generation semiconductors (such as BJT, PIN, SOS).
