Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team.

Duties

• Fabricate and weld components using various methods including TIG, MIG, Dual Shield, Flux Core, Stick.
• Operate power tools and machinery such as press chop saw, band saw, iron worker etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Utilize forklifts for material handling and transportation within the workspace.
• Operate reach forks, scissor lifts, genie lifts, on job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.

Skills

• Leadership skills a bonus. Managing a small crew.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and structural steel.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with press brake machines for shaping metal components.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Set and align structural steel, beams, columns, etc.
• Perform rigging and hand signals for crane lifts.
• Adhere to AWS D1.1 welding code.
