PrideStaff has partnered with our Dallas based client as they look for a Facilities Manager to join their team.
Summary:
The Facilities Manager will oversee facility operations and maintenance of all structures and facilities-related systems, for multiple buildings. This position plans and oversees building work and renovation while ensuring productivity expectations and compliance standards are maintained.
Essential Job Functions
Performs and oversees any and all facilities maintenance duties including installation, maintenance, and testing of all systems: HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, fire alarm, physical structures and public, office, storage areas, etc.
May also assist with installations, maintenance, and testing of security and phone systems.
Perform general handyman services (i.e. whiteboard installation, picture hanging, minor furniture repair etc.), ceiling tile replacement, carpet tile replacement.
Light electrical, i.e. changing ballast, light bulbs and tubes.
Reviews and prioritizes maintenance programs, work orders, and schedules; identifies and assigns facility improvements and repairs and monitors ongoing mechanical maintenance.

Researches and responds promptly to complaints and provides updates on resolution.
Ensures all purchases and expenses comply with purchasing requirements and obtains necessary approvals.
Oversees janitorial services in all facilities
Assists with negotiating and managing vendor maintenance contracts and warranties.
Builds and develops relationships with key suppliers, maintenance contractors, health center managers, and tenants.
Works with leadership on the allocation of space within buildings.
Inspects facilities for the purpose of ensuring continuous quality improvement in maintenance operations, work order follow-up and preventative maintenance.
Assists with the disposal of facilities-related assets.
Oversees contractors for facility maintenance including grounds and custodial support, construction or maintenance for capital projects.
Works with leadership in ensuring construction and renovation projects are on time and within budget.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree + 1-2 years of related professional experience
OR Associate’s degree + 5 years of related professional experience
OR High School diploma + 9 years of related professional experience.
Related professional experience: facilities management or site management.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
Must have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Specific to this role….
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Must be able to travel as needed.
Ability to think strategically and achieve organization's goals relating to position.
Ability to operationalize strategic goals into action plans
Ability to provide oversight of compliance and regulatory requirements pertaining to position.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 Per Year
