About the Job
Maximus is seeking a Facilities Manager to join the Real Estate/Facilities department in our mission to maintain a safe and clean work environment for all Maximus clients and employees.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for two sites: London, KY and Winchester, KY. T his position requires 100% on-site presence, with the home site being in London, KY or Winchester, KY.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee vendor relations, purchasing and vendor payments.
- Oversee the performance of facilities staff.
- Oversee and ensure the appropriate response to all types of emergencies and crisis situations.
- Oversee contractors for facility renovation projects including HVAC, electrical systems, and production floor arrangements, etc.
- Maintain current knowledge in the field of facilities management, maintenance, and security.
- Establish, implement, and update facility/security related policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety precautions, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Report and communicate effectively with operations staff.
- Conduct budget forecasting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 5-7 years relevant professional experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of education.
Additional Minimum Requirements:
• 5-7 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, and security.
• Experience managing multiple facilities and sites.
• Proven experience in managing technical projects and systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, security, and fire suppression.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• The Facilities Manager will be responsible for 2 sites:
- London, KY
- Winchester, KY
• Willingness to travel to support other Maximus sites as needed.
• Working on-site in London, KY or Winchester, KY.
• Available on-call 24/7 for any facilities-related emergencies or issues.
• Responsible for Emergency Response team calls as required.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
