Facilities Technician – Urgently Hiring at Express Employment Professionals

Position Overview: Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks across various fields such as carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, HVAC, plumbing, etc. This role involves general maintenance and cleaning, painting, floor repair and upkeep, maintenance of mechanical equipment, and other assigned responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks in various fields including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
• Conduct general maintenance and cleaning of facilities.
• Paint and perform floor repairs as needed.
• Maintain mechanical equipment and systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry preferred.
• Four (4) years’ experience in building maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
