NASCAR SpeedPark: PARC Pigeon Forge, LLC, a division of PARC Entertainment, LLC (“PARC”), owns and operates the NASCAR SpeedPark in Sevierville, Tennessee. As an officially licensed attraction of the National Association for Stock Car Racing (“NASCAR”), the park offers exciting side-by-side go-kart racing on eight tracks, together with amusement rides, miniature golf courses, bumper boats, an arcade and other family-oriented entertainment. Job Purpose: Provide an excellent guest experience by maintaining clean, stocked and safely maintained grounds, restrooms and all park buildings.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES For Facility Cleanliness/ Janitorial Position:
Demonstrate “People-First”:

- Promote a Harassment-free workplace by minimizing gossip, treating all team members with respect and reporting inappropriate behavior or conversations that could be considered harassment or discriminatory.
- Respond to calls for cleaning of spills and restrooms in a timely manner.
- Communicate respectfully and patiently with Guests when there is a need to close a restroom for cleaning and safety purposes.
- Answer general questions and be helpful, friendly and courteous.
Demonstrate “Always Safe”:
- Maintain common areas (furniture, tables, chairs, benches) baseboard tiles, directories, billboards, trash receptacles, ash urns, storefronts, and signage free of dust, dirt and grime.
- Assure common area is cleaned daily, also exterior sidewalks to entrances.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness and safety.
- Clean and mop spills as they occur or as reported in a timely manner so as to prevent a safety hazard.
- Clean and keep all hallways and walkways clear and free of debris.
- Able to clean bodily fluid spills following appropriate safety protocols.
- Understand and monitor the condition of all safety features and signage.
- Wear protective equipment such as eye and ear protection or respirators when required.
- Assure ash urns are free of trash and cigarette butts and add new sand as needed.
- Remove trash and foreign material from plant beds and floor planters.
- Report any malfunction immediately to supervisor.
- Maintain proper cleaning/ sanitizing and organizing procedures.
- Use proper radio etiquette.

- Be enthusiastic and promote a friendly and fun atmosphere for our team members and guests.
- Promote a mutually supportive, unified, “we are all on the same team” relationship with team members in all department and divisions.
Demonstrate “Commit to Excellence”
- Change out trash and litter receptacles as needed and wash trash and litter containers daily.
- Maintain carpet and tile flooring.
- Perform elementary painting and finishing of furniture and structure including but not limited to plastering, refinishing, and stripping.
- Assist in maintaining lighting system with necessary bulb replacements when needed
- Maintain carpet and tile flooring
- Perform light maintenance including toilet plunging, changing light bulbs and battery replacements.
- Complete necessary documentation of opening and closing, cleaning duties and timekeeping.
- Ensure professional development to enhance work knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, expectations and requirements.
- Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe, as determined by the reporting leader.
- Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters.
- Provide reporting leader with feedback, ideas and suggestions on a timely basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS For Facility Cleanliness/ Janitorial Position:

- Required Education- Able to read, write, speak and follow directions
- Preferred Experience – 6 months – 1 year in work-related field
- Certification/Licensure – none
- Specific Vision Requirements – Color and peripheral vision, Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
- Special Skills – Good communication skills written and verbal, positive and effective customer service skills

- Extended standing and walking, pushing and pulling.
- Able to maintain visual contact with the ride and the guests.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- The noise level is moderate to loud.
- Regularly the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time, including direct sunlight, extreme heat, cold, wind and rain.
